news, sorry its been a while...

Just to keep people posted, I'm going to Nice tomorrow. Having Laduree tonight with Juliette and her BF Arthur, finally going to Eiffel Tower tonight. Had the apparently number 1 baguette in paris the other day (I think number 2 is better, it's also not in Montmarte which in ways is a plus, though a lot of Montmarte is fantastic.) Found a fantastic Greek place, run by a really weird family, they speak French with me regardless of my terrible accent, and give me free coffee (café grec!) and Ouzo, all a man needs. Also found my first reasonably priced Confit in town at Chez Gladines, which is next to Place D'Italie, an otherwise somewhat industrial and boring part of the City, which is the best Confit I've had, so I'm now somewhat more satisfied with my France experience.

Spent the past two hours making my phone work, now it does, I think inexpensively. I'm fine, hotels alright, a little hot, very tired but all is well.

I'm freaking out a little about where I'm going to stay the next few nights I need a place till sunday because I think I'm going to get a train or flight to barcelona on sunday and stay with aly for a few days. My internets not working though, is it safe to just wait on it till the morning, I'm sorry I'm sending so many texts.

Friend forgot I was coming or misunderstood so failed to pick me up from the airport, phone doesn't work in Spain so found a hostel, making my way into the city

friend freaks out and via facebook finds me fairly under the weather at Auberguinn Hostel in downtown Barcelona, we hang for a few days.

Back in paris waiting for my bags, staying in place d'italie tonight so going there to leave my stuff then off to the marais for lunch then a tour of pompidou, followed by either hanging in the left bank or just going back to place d'italie and checking out paris chinatown. Tomorrow its laundry and depending on where I stay its pontoise (zone 5, far north, little village where patrick lives. Wayne shorters playing tomorrow night which should be tight) or museum of modern art. Thursday I'm having a "cake orgy" with juliette and picking up my freshly tailored jacket and maybe moving into cite.
